Mt. Lassen

I just got back from a four day camping trip to Mt. Lassen. I had a great time. I hiked a lot, the most strenuous hike was the trip to the peak of Mt. Lassen. That hike was only 2.5 miles each way but the combination of thin air at 10,475' and the very steep trail made it seem much longer. I also hiked out to Bumpass Hell and Echo Lake on separate trips. In between I loafed around Summit Lake Campground and watched the light change on the water. All in all a very nice trip.
